It is also a good idea to read these electric heater reviews to look for recommendations for the right electric heaters for our homes. Here are some reviews to help you with your choices.
The Ceramic Tower Heater
The first electric heater review that we will be doing is for the Ceramic Tower Heater by Lasko. This is a convection oscillating heater with a fan that is built-in to the heater and 2 heating levels with its power ranging from 900watts to 1500watts. This electric heater has a depth of 7.25 inches, height of 23 inches and width of 8.5 inches with 3 year warranty period.
For this heater, there is a programmable thermostat, a timer, and a remote control. If you’re afraid that it will overheat, do not worry as there is an overheat protection for safety purposes. Compared to the other space heaters, this one has quite a lot of good and positive feedback.
The advantages of this space heater is that it has a good heat output and the whole heater oscillates to distribute heat evenly. Moreover, it is quiet and compact. However, some common complaints regarding this electric heater is that it beeps loudly whenever it is being reset. The temperature control is also found to be unreliable by some users.
There are also a few users who complained about the power cord which is said to be overheated when in use. Despite its few lacking, this electric heater receives the least complaint. The price ranges from $47 to $200. There are about 500 users comment for this electric heater with and average rating of 4 to 5 out 5.
The Mica Panel Radiator
The second electric heater review is for the Mica Panel Radiator by DeLonghi . It is also a convection electric heater with 2 heating level and it is not fan forced. This electric heater runs at 1500 watts and is 2 inches deep, 20 inches high and 26 inches wide which comes with a one year warranty.
The unique feature of this electric heater is that it can be wall mounted. Although not as fast as a fan-powered model, this convection heater warms a room better than the traditional oil-filled radiator. Moreover, it is quiet, equipped with a thermostat and has a few safety features such as a tip-over switch, overheat protection and water-splash protection.
However, unlike most models, it does not have a timer or a remote control. Generally, it heats well but here are complaints that it breaks down shortly after purchase and that there is a persistent unpleasant odor. Its price is estimated to be $95. There have been about 250 written reviews and there are reports saying that the water-splash protection feature is misleading as there is a fine print which says not to use the heater in a bathroom.
The Optimus H-5210 Infrared Quartz Heater
