Panel electric heaters
Panel electric heaters, known as radiant panel heaters, are installed in a various applications, including living spaces, work spaces, and industries. They produce heat via the transfer of radiant heat, by infrared waves. Panel electric heaters not only serves its purpose well by providing ample heat, but is also the most nice looking electric heaters around, as it has a simple design, and does not take up much space. Apart from being a good space heater, panel electric heaters serve other applications such as water evaporation, drying, material preparation, curing, and food processing.
What makes them a good choice for space heating?
Panel electric heaters feature a thin body construction, for them to be installed on wall surfaces, causing no obstruction. They are also lightweight, and can be mounted with ease. Once installed, they radiate heat in all directions, warming up your bedroom, study, or bathroom. The thin panel design of panel electric heaters makes them more favourable and more appropriate for living spaces and offices compared to other heating apparatus which are large and bulky.
Some panel electric heaters have plastic surfaces, commonly installed in homes; and some varieties have surfaces made from stainless steel, usually used in areas that require sterilization. The surfaces of panel electric heaters can also be painted according to your preference for camouflage or to suit the interior design of the space it is installed in.
What sets it apart is that they produce ‘soft’ heat, which remains consistent when it is running, unlike the heat from forced air systems, which tend to fluctuate. Hence, the outside surface of a panel electric heater will not rise to extreme temperatures, and this reduces the chances of burning, compared to other varieties of electric heaters.
Within panel electric heaters, all the components are enclosed. So, unlike other electric heaters, they have no moving parts, and you don’t need to worry about the heating element collecting dust. Hence, panel electric heaters typically have longer lifespan compared to those cheap heaters.
In addition, panel electric heaters not also makes your room warm and comfortable, they are also able to retain the moisture in the air. So, you will not suffer from skin dryness or cracked lips due to the dry atmosphere.
